Our next Release + Receive Rapé Medicine Ceremony will be held Saturday, July 26th, from 11:00-1:00pm at a private venue on the edge of North Boulder foothills.
We’d love to have you with us for a powerful ritual of shedding what no longer serves us to make space for all that we are calling in.
The Medicine:
Rapé (pronounced Ra-pé or Ha-pé) is an all-natural sacred snuff medicine that has been used by tribes of South America since ancient times to cleanse an individuals energy and aid them in the release of dis-ease, stagnancy, and energetic blockages within the body, mind, or spirit. This medicine is composed of pulverized plants such as eucalyptus, mint, and mixed with tobacco and alkaline ash to create a potent healing medicine.
The rapé is blown into each nostril by a practitioner using a ceremonial pipe called a Tepi. The first nostril represents a death of what no longer serves us and creates space for the releasing of whatever needs to be released. Maybe stagnancy, fear, or insecurity… Maybe anxiousness, stress, or anger. With this medicine, we create a sacred space to ceremonially let go of these burdens that we carry within. Together we hold space for the letting go. The second nostril represents a rebirth and opening up to receive that which me are calling in and ready to welcome into our life.
There is typically a mild burning sensation which lasts a few seconds, followed by a powerful calm, grounding effect in the body. There is often a release of tears that allow room for more emotional release to follow. Many people who experience anxiety find that this medicine provides a great relief, quieting the whirring mind and allowing the recipient to experience peace and a deeper understanding.

Experiencing Rapé in Ceremony.
We offer rapé in a small group container of women who would all be experiencing the medicine along side you. We begin ceremony with a guided meditation and personal reflection, connecting to our intentions with this medicine - what are you letting go of and what are you calling in? We then open up the space for some sharing to get a sense of where each woman is coming from and her personal intentions with this ceremony. We then hold space for each woman to receive the medicine. After everyone has been served, we will then move into our journals taking time to integrate the thoughts and feelings moving through us. We then allow room for anyone to share about their experience to further integrate before we close our circle.
This ceremony typically lasts about 2 hours long.
We find that these small group containers are incredibly powerful as we hold space for each woman’s release and renewal. We experience the medicine completely on our own but we are also held by the loving energy of the women around us who so deeply understand what it’s like to long for release and rebirth.

Cost of Experience:
The cost of the experience in a small group container is a sliding scale of $50-$111 per woman.
We offer a discount for those signing up with a friend $45 per person.
